MMM held a meeting on 14 September at David Nelson’s house. These meetings are held every two months or so and are on our calendar of events. David gave a talk to a seniors group in Oshawa on 22 September on model shipbuilding. The next meeting will be in November.
The meetings are aimed primarily at the static/scale group but are open to all MMM members. They are well attended so please first confirm attendance with David.
This meeting was a show and tell where each member talked about the model they are working on or had just finished. Questions members had about model building were also discussed.
The model on the table is the steam ferry Trillium that serves Toronto Island. It is scratch built by David and recently finished and is an excellent example of the skills the individuals in the static group have.
