Hello to all Sail Division Skippers;
I have been in contact with the Project Manager for the Lakefront Promenade boardwalk renovation, and here is the update regarding the completion timeline:-“We are on hold right now with boardwalk construction by the spray pad area. The undergirding has been installed. However, delivery of the decking boards was delayed due to COVID.
We anticipate arrival of decking boards at the end of July. Once we have the boards, completion of the project would take another 8 weeks which would put us at the end of September.”This tells me that the LP location will not be available as a sail/race location this season.
If I get any updates, I will let you know.
