    Hello to All DF65 Skippers and MMM RC sailors;
The DF65 race event scheduled for Sunday 28th of June is CANCELLED.
Because of a major weed problem, the HBPE pond cannot be used for racing, let alone sailing.
I went to Lakefront Promenade and it is still in the early stages of renovations for the boardwalk replacement, which means we cannot sail or race there.
So, as of now, we cannot sail at either of our two locations.
I hope when the call goes out for volunteers to help clean up HBPE pond, that many of you respond positively and turn out to help.
If we don’t clean up HBPE pond, our 2020 Season is finished for the foreseeable future.
I will endeavor to update all of you as and when things improve.

    Stay healthy.
    Best,
    David Tweedale.
    DF65 Fleet Captain.

Hello to all my fellow DF65 skippers.
After and considerable effort this morning, the HBPE pond is clear enough to start our race event tomorrow morning.
Thanks goes out to Lisa (my wife), Julian, David A., Paul Finlay, Peter Berlin and Tom M; a stellar job done by all.
The weeds have been removed and the potential race courses are 85%-90% clear of weeds but that is not a guarantee that you will not hit weeds.
First race starts at 9:30 am, so please register on the MMM website Events sign up.
Social Distancing will be exercised and please bring a face covering.
I am looking forward to seeing you all there tomorrow.
    Best,
    David Tweedale
    DF65 Fleet Captain.
